"People's Artist" in the pantheon of immortality. Albanian acting icon!

Sander Prosi (1920 – 1985) has been missing from the Albanian scene for some time, but not from the Albanian spirit. Has remained forever in the film as the epitome symbol of efforts for the light of knowledge, the path of Albanian letters and Albanian independence. It is his voice and image that will take us on our way to the new millennia, with the only passport, our identity as Albanians. Therefore, he will be in the memory of the nation forever, in the pantheon of immortality. For more than three decades, Sandër Prosi created over 80 roles in theater and cinematography, separated from 75 works by foreign authors and local. His acting class made neither of them look like the other. They were so different and for this reason they became quite popular and liked by the public. The straight body, the noble appearance, an incomparable scenic light, the warm gaze, the plasticity and strength of his speech, the special voice gave this actor the proportions of a great stage artist, who was naturally engraved in the audience. Through the inner monologue, the artist revealed all the concerns, preoccupations and thoughts of the character. An artist with a very fine, very special creative profile. The individuality that characterizes Sander Prosi is noticeable, not only in what he has done, but also in the unity of thought and feeling. As a smart actor, I penetrate into the depth of the roles to their darkest recesses, unraveling the psychology of the character in detail. He has played various roles and has never been the same. He knows the emotional world of the character very well. The roles interpreted by him are both vital and natural, where simplicity stands out in the range of interpretations. He plays in the theater and imitates life, but raises it to the level of the impossible, where high aesthetics shine. In the monologues of the dramas performed by him, the tragic and the comic are beautifully interwoven, the actor moves from one situation to another while maintaining a sense of proportion. He acts like a madman, but deep inside him is the consciousness of the artist to understand the essence of the role, the message of the public. People's Artist director Piro Mani said "Sandri seems to have been born to play Horat in "Hamlet". Sandri is one of the most realized figures". The actor Sander Prosi himself said: "Talent develops from the feeling of love for work". Sander Prosit's art stood out from among the figures interpreted from the years 1953, where he interprets Von Shubes, Vata, the waiter Mitka, continues with Zabelini, excels in the Prefect, where the artist unfolds a wide range of comic situations with unusual skill. In the role of Isa Boletini, he stood out as the interpreter of the ardent patriot, the great freedom fighter with whom this brilliant talent was identified. Some of his most prominent roles on the stage of the theater, which were interpreted with creative originality, with special national emotions and features, even though these works were crippled by the ideo-political viewpoint of the time, still these roles had their characteristics and features.
