Xhevat Behri (1929-2014) Sound operator Born in Shkoder on February 9, 1929. Correspondence head of the Artistic High School in Tirana. He started working at the Cinematographic Enterprise on December 2, 1949. In 1953, with a group of friends, he was sent to Moscow, near the Central Studio of Documentary Films, doing a specialization course for sound operator. Since 1954, he worked as a sound operator in Kinostudio "Shqiperia e Re" in chronical films, documentaries and several dozen and hundreds of newsreels. In 1957, he was the first sound operator who produced the soundtrack in the first short feature film, "Her Children", and a year later, in 1958, the first operator of the feature film "Tana". Xhevat Behri was a man passionate about his profession, tireless and persistent with dedication and professional manner, although without any full professional education (apart from a one-year course in Moscow), he managed to become the most productive sound operator leaving his mark. in all genres of Albanian film. In addition to many chronicle films, documentaries and newsreels in his professional career, he made about 35 feature films as a sound operator. Among these films are: "The first years" (1964), "Oshetime ne pstost" (1966), "Encounter with death" (1967), "When it dawned on a day" (1970), "Captain" (1972), "Operation Fire" (1973), "Rugica qoconin diel" (1975), "Forest of freedom" (1976), "Concert in the year `36" (1978), "Balle per balle" (1979), "One night without light" (1981), "Time away" (1983), "Guri i bese" (1985); "Murder in the hunt" (1987), "Signal of love" (1985) etc. I change my life in 2014 ______ Published for the first time on the page "Albanian Cinema" on Facebook, in February 2020.
