#Shqiptare Cinematography Tano Banushi (1927-1993) People's Artist He was a master of experiencing within a literary material all the vibrations of a character's soul. What he created was not a clown, nor a palazzo, but he had an inner, subtle humor, there was also drama. Tanoja has excelled in all genres of humor and was very attentive to the details of every role she played in order to perform it as well as possible. A brilliant, unique actor of Albanian humor. A regular reader, especially, of humorous literature, which he sought both on stage and in literary art. The secret of this brilliant actor in the field of humor lies in his originality. Original in speaking and interpretation. Original in everyday life. He hated the poses and external brilliance, buffoonery and theatrics. For us Albanians, he was like the Italian Toto or Alberto Sordi, without exaggeration he had the class of comedians of this rank. The great artist was born in Shkodra on February 4, 1927, (while in the document it appears that he was born on February 4, 1928) with the name Athanas Lluko Banushi and no one knows him as such. Everyone called him and knew him as Tano. This is so true, that even he found out later that his name is Athanas! He was born in a family where humor and song were daily motives of life. They were 27 members of the family. Tano's father, Lluko Banushi, was known for his subtle humor and his song. He was one of the well-known beytezhinites of the city of Shkodra. Also, Llukoja wrote the lyrics for many songs, songs that are still sung today at civic weddings. Tano Banushi will be called a great master of humor, surprising the Albanian public with his strength and originality, creating unique roles that remained in the treasure of our culture, both in the theater and especially in the comedy genre. . They say that on the day Tano Banushi was born, even though winter was at its peak, nature was smiling, the sky was clear and the sun was shining, as if warning that the one who would give them was born people more gas and joy, which would make their lives more beautiful. Lluko Banushi had a son and this was a very pleasant and exciting event for him and his wife, Marie. Llukoja always said: "I want the first child to be a boy, then let a dozen girls be born, it doesn't bother me, but let's start with a boy." Tano started to become active in a newly formed artistic group when he was in high school. I perform in the show "Yesterday and Today" by Filip Ndocaj. Later I perform in the simple performances of "Vasil Shanto" workers. Viewers at that time looked at Tano as a skilled presenter of programs who, with his expressive humor, made the whole hall their own. He played in many such shows, until in Shkoder in 1958 the city's professional variety show was created. On November 14, 1958, the premiere of the first professional variety show was opened for Tanon. He debuted successfully, thus starting his artistic path where his portrait would crystallize day by day. The brilliant Albanian comedy actor, Tano Banushi, has performed over 1000 roles in his long stage life, remaining a popular name, a prominent figure in the genre of Albanian humor and satire. 1000 appearances on stage and theater, over 1000 stage faces, from Leo, Pashuku to Keshilli i ndrikullave, and continuing with Tusho to "Fotografia" Dulla, he would embody servants, workers, militia, police, gendarmes , soldiers, cooperators, brigadiers, suppliers, bosses, presidents, sportsmen, referees, fans, tourists, painters, gossipers, photographers, etc. etc. that would take hours to mention, even forest animals and birds and…. female characters , all of these realized by Tano's inexhaustible humor. 1000 roles on stage, over 1000 unrepeatable faces interpreted by him in about 45 years of life on the stage of the "Migjeni" Theater in Shkodra, where he started his artistic life. On January 18, 1945, a few days after the liberation, the House of Art and Culture was established, which was formed by the cream of the Shkodra intelligentsia. On February 18, M.Gorki's play "Bujtina e t'vorfënve" was shown, prepared by the well-known intellectuals Filip Ndocaj and Qemal Draçini. In June 1945, at the end of the school year, when Tano Banushi had just finished the seventh grade of the state high school, some cultural and artistic activities took place. In this drama, Tano Banushi played the role of Gjini, the charming servant of a Shkodra family. The show was given in the salon of the company "Vllaznia" near "Dugaje te Reja". In this show, the parodies "Seventh Class" and "Jak, o Jak" were also given, where Tanoja was presented as a comedian. In the drama "Enemy of the People" by Ibsen (1945) among many roles, the figure of the drunkard attracted attention, which together with the Ibsenian character, introduced the comic actor Tano Banushi" – the critic Miho Gjini would say about him in a portrait essay. He then follows in the comedy "Pashuku" by F. Ndocaj in 1946, in the role of a comic servant. Elegant, agile , with a surprising mood, with Shkodra colors intertwined with tradition, improvisational and expressive, Tano will appear as a presenter of the amateur group of the workers' club "Vasil Shanto". Then Tano will appear in the role of a sailor in "One optimistic tragedy" by Vishnjevski; in the role of the captain in the comedy "The Prefect" by B. Levonje; in the role of Llomov in "The Engagement" by Chekhov; in the role of Mazllumi in the comedy "Hey my dad" by J. Vojush; in "Shani me bidon" to Paulin Selimi in the role of a dull and lazy peasant, in the role of Leo in the comedy "Keshilli i ndrikullave", by Sh. Mita. Perseri "has something missing" and to complete his portrait of a great artist, the activity will continue, gaining the sympathy of more and more stage art lovers, remaining unforgettable in their minds, jokes, skits and role names that "you didn't run out of time" even today when you listen to them. Tano Banushi is a complex figure. Within a show you see her in different roles. He found a special artistic outfit for each role. Parallel to the role of the presenter, he developed the genre of Intermexos, with which he miraculously filled every gap in the program, every break between numbers. Equipped with a vivid memory, good at remembering and telling endless anecdotes. Master of satirical-humorous interpretation, Tano – parodist and storyteller. He bursts onto the scene as a rare comic. The execution of Intermexov became so interesting that the audience had learned to look forward to his appearance on the stage. In our days, he has achieved even more the quality of intermexos, he has become even more familiar with them. In the libretto "Relay around the tree", created and staged by him, intermexoja dominates and precisely thanks to the many cheerful people of Tano, this beautiful premiere is a great success. Another merit of this actor is his talent in the field of musical parody. He wrote most of the texts himself. He also finds the music himself, so that it responds to the verse and the rhyme. Such musical skits, such as: "Emrimi", the cycle "Dulla don pulla", "Dulla goes to the market", "Dulla is looking for easy work", the recipe "Two cobblers" are really beautiful. Among them, "Receta" is one of the most popular. One such feature of Tanos has been the ability of the monologue. Since he was little, in his youth, he never came to the theater. He was good at speaking alone, freely without being impressed, without getting confused by talking for a long time. Tanoja was a versatile actor. He knew how to play tragedy, comedy, skit, parade, vaudeville, intermexon, etc. Tano also played the guitar beautifully. On August 7, 1993, he will change his life, leaving his great name in the history of Albanian humor. __________________ Albanian cinematography in activity since 2013 Reference: "Always beloved and fresh on our stage" A.
