Rauf Pojani! Child actor in Kinostudio's Albanian film "Alhqiperia e Re" The generation that grew up with Kinostudio's film, definitely still remembers today, after a long time, the joke "O Guri, o brave with paper", or the other one "forca Kike, give it Kike" !!! Once in the Albanian film, children had a special place, and their role, contribution was quite significant. Many of them caught the eye with the roles they embodied in the film, but not all of them continued the path of acting. One of this group was "Guri" from the movie "Mengjese lufte", that little boy with a slightly hoarse voice, barefoot with that wooden rifle on his shoulder, with the figure of a leader of that group of children in this movie. Rauf Pojani was born in Pogradec in 1962. He caught the eye of the film directors as a skillful, smart, seasoned, fixed child, as if he was made to order from that generation of children who grew up and became men prematurely during the war. And here his journey begins in 1972, in the movie "Captain". And who doesn't remember the joke "Kike strength, give Kike" in a scene where the great, unforgettable actor Albert Verria is next to him? He is reading the newspaper to his grandfather, uncle Sulo, but at the same time he wants to join his peers who are playing ball, so to shorten the reading time he "jumps" from one news to another while his grandfather starts to doze off. A year later, in 1973, he will again perform a very small, episodic role in the film "Grooves", where he will have the support of the two giants of Albanian acting, Ndreke Lucen and Albert Verrine. Here too there is a scene reading the newspaper…… The film that will make him more famous will be "Morning of War" in the role of Guri in 1977. Now he will be 14 years old, as he plays this character that will "stick to his body", and which you will know how to interpret with mastery. "Why did you take off your hat when the Germans passed? "Out of respect"! / "And when did I pass"? / "Out of respect"! All due respect to the "little" actor Rauf Pojani, even though later, his life will take a different direction with that of cinematography.
