A tribute to Giuliano Gemma. "Farewell Krios…." ********************************* The Albanian public knew him for the first time as Krios tek "The titans have arrived", secretly admired on Italian TV in "Arizona Colt" as well as in 1991, by the female audience, he was very liked during the series "The woman in the frame" (La moglie nella cornice). Parallel to Albanian Cinematography, fortunately for us, the cinemas were filled with films and actors of the most brilliant moment of Italian cinematography. Both the epic one and the social one. Thanks to this cinema, in our eyes, legendary actors of world cinema such as Marcelo Mastrojani, Sofia Loren, Gian Maria Volonte, Ornela Muti, Alida Valli, Bekim Fehmiu, Toto, but also Alen Delon, Irene Papas, etc. passed by and became immortal. Coincidentally, we got to know Giuliano gema, albeit belatedly, in his first film. "Arrivano i Titani" in the original. A film so loved by children and not only. It was a film that came in the wake of the epic films selected by the censors of that time through which, in cinemas or on Saturdays and Sundays, we were somehow forgotten by having fun with the adventures of heroes such as Hercules, Odysseus, Macistus or Krios in the case of Juliano Xhema. Let's not forget, apart from the football we were secretly watching, there were our Italian lessons! In Italy, Giuliano Xhema was called during the farewell given as the king of Italian Western Cinema, in other words "Spaghetti Western". It should be mentioned that his great passion was sculpture. He was an excellent sculptor and did not stop creating until the last day of his life! For the Italians, he remained forever "Il Ringo (western character played by him). He first started with a small role next to Alberto Sordi in the film "La luna e tu" by Dino Rissi. His springboard was an episodic appearance in the Colosseum film "Ben Hur" as a centurion to reach his first role as Krios in Duccio Tessari's "Arrivano i Titani"… His brilliance was the Italian western cinema as we mentioned before, known as "Spaghetti Western" and the films he starred in were consecutively number one at the box office. It is about films with the signature of directors such as Duccio Tessari, Tonino Valerii, Sergio Corbucci and titles such as Una pistola per Ringo, Il ritorno di Ringo, Adio's gringo, Un dollaro bucato, I lunghi giorni della vendetta, Per pochi dollari ancora e I giorni dell'ira We also mention the co-interpretation with Bud Spencer "Anche gli angeli mangiano fagioli" – Even angels eat beans. Published some time ago on the Facebook page with the same name in October 2013.

Giuliano Gemma (1938-2013) One of the most prominent Italian and world cinema actresses. It will take a whole book to fully describe the figure of the Italian actor Xuliano Xhema. When the "Spaghetti Western" was born in the early '60s, some of the most famous Italian actresses, such as Terence Hill (Mario Girotti), Bud Spencer (Carlo Pedersoli) lined up alongside the giant names of Hollywood, Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef.
