Nuredin Cabej (1924 – )
Director of documentary films.

He was born on September 14, 1924. In 1941 he went to the National Center of Cinematography in Rome, starting his studies as an actor, but he managed to finish only 2 classes. Later, on August 5, 1957, he was appointed as a director in the documentary film “Shqiperia e Re” at Kinostudio.

His first film is “Corn” – 1959; Throughout his career in cinematography, he made a total of 10 documentary films, among which we can remember:

“Joy of life” – 1961 / “With our fishermen” – 1962 / “Cow breeding and their development” – 1964 / “Circus ” – 1965.

His most successful film that stands out for the high level of camera and photography (with operator Viktor Gjika) is “Silence that Speaks” in 1964 – a color film.

In 1965, he was suspended from work under the pretext that he had tried to escape to Greece, but the real reason was because he had studied in Italy during the fascist occupation of Albania.

NOTE: Unfortunately, we do not have any information beyond 2002 about the director in question. However, the aim of this page is not to let it be forgotten as far as we have information. no artist from Albanian performing arts.
