PREMIERES OF POPULAR THEATER!
59 years ago, on March 29, 1966, on the stage of the “Populor Theater”, the premiere of A.Z Cajupi`s comedy “14 vjec dhenderr” took place.
1966-2025
The comedy “14 vjec dhenderr” is one of Andon Zako Cajupi’s most popular works, written in 1902. As a playwright, he gave content and a new form to the drama, through a realistic and critical perspective, as well as humor sharp popular.
This drama starts as a comedy and then ends as a tragicomedy. The comic is related to the absurd situation where the bride puts the groom to sleep, while the tragic to the exploitation of the bride.
