This is how Albanians are described
in “The General of the Dead Army”!

The video above is taken from the television movie, the 1976 version, “The General of the Dead Army”, an accomplished work written with great international success by Ismail Kadare.

In the film, there are two scenes that can be distinguished by the words how the Albanians are described in the dialogue between the priest (Pjeter Gjoka) and the general (Sander Prosi).

Of course, we are talking about a movie, but nevertheless, there are heavy phrases and some of them even as if they were prophesied during the period of this endless transition that our country is going through, (such as the return of blood feuds, violence, murders etc.)!

They attract our attention when you hear such phrases today in this film shot since 1976 and you are surprised by the fact that the time system has allowed this film, which seems to have somehow escaped censorship.
