Ndriçim Xhepa Albanian Theater and Cinematography actor. She is among the most prominent actresses and has been evaluated for this with: First Class 'Naim Frashëri' Order Title 'Merited Artist' Title 'Great Master' Title 'Honour of the Nation' Born on January 21, 1957 in Tirana. After completing his acting studies at the Academy of Arts, in 1980, he began working as an actor at the National Theatre. He has performed about 50 roles in the theater, among which those in: "Prometheus" by V. Eftimiu, "In life" by Dh. Xhuvan, "Monserrat" by Robles, "Death of a commissioner" by A. Miller, "Under the stage lights", "Tomorrow is late" and "Stairs" by R. Pulahes, "Twelfth night" and "Romeo and Juliet" ” by Shakespeare, “Blood Wedding” by FG Lorca, “Fernando Krafi has written me this letter” by Dorsti, with which he won the "Aleksandër Moisiu" Award as "Best Actor" at the National Theater Festival in 1995, "Hekurat ” by Arpad Göncz, “Death of Danton” by Byhner, “Night of knocks on windows” by Dh. Anagnosti, "Death and the Virgin" by Dorfman, "The Nameless Star" by M. Sebastian, "The Portrait of Dorian Gray" by O. Wilde, "The Seagull" by A. Chekhov, "Chapter Two" by Simon, with which wins the "Best Actor" Award at the Nationwide Acting Festival "Apollon 2004", the "Kult" Award in 2005 and the International Festival "Kosova InFest" in 2005, "Closer" by P. Marber, "Hotel Balkan" by B. Hoxha, "For a word of mouth" by N. Saurrate, with which he won the "Kult" Award in 2007, "The White Crow" by M. Luarasi, "Uncle Vanja" by A. Chehov, with which he received for the third time "Cult" award in 2009, "Wrong Dinner" by I. Kadare, "Freedom in Bremen" by R. Fassbinder, "Spy of the Balkans" by D. Kovacevic, "Family Tot" by Örkeny Istvan.


 

From 1989-2008, he was an external lecturer at the Academy of Arts, at the Faculty of Performing Arts, and in 1996-97 he was elected a deputy in the Albanian Parliament. In the 90s, he also performed leading roles in independent productions such as "Caution! It bites…" by Gerni, "The Beautiful Queen" by McDonagh, "Tomorrow we leave for heaven" by T. Dervish and "Adultery" by Pinter. While at the Theater of Nations in Skopje, he performed in the play "King Lear" by U. Shakespeare. Ndrichim Xhepa has also successfully acted in about 40 films such as: "Butterfly in my cabin" and "Sako's wedding" directed by V. Prifti, "Dear Enemy", "East-West-East" and "In search of to whom" directed by Gj. Xhuvanit, "The distant time", "Don't be silent", "The train leaves at seven to five", "Rapists", "Secrets" and "Ada" directed by S. Alimani, "Plasticine Bullet" and "Provincial Chronicle" directed by A. Minarolli, "Millenium" directed by B. Bisha, "Unforgotten Chronicle" in the forgotten village" directed by K. Bektesh, "I Paharruari" directed by M. Shanaj, Greek film "Eduard" directed by Angeliki Antoniu, "Three days from a life" directed by L. Malaj, Greek film "Hostage" directed by Konstandin Janaris, "To the facade" directed by D. Thana, "Councillors" directed by Xh. Dafa. Ndriçim Xhepa has been awarded several prizes for his roles in cinematography, where we can mention: 'Medal' for the role of Genci in the film "Friends", the 5th Albanian Film Festival (1983), 'Medal' for the role of Arsenit in the movie "Love Your Name", 6th Albanian Film Festival (1985), "Best Actor Cup" for the role of Ben in the movie "Shadows that remain behind", 7th Albanian Film Festival (1987), 'Best Actor Cup' for the role of Toma in the movie "Butterfly in my cabin", 8th Albanian Film Festival (1989), 'Best Actor Cup' for the role of Alush Beu in the film "Sako's Wedding", the 11th Albanian Film Festival (2000), 'Best Actor Cup' for the role of Harun Bonata in the film "Dear Enemy", the 12th Albanian Film Festival (2006 ), Actor Award for the role of Ilo Zoto in the film "East-West-East" at the International Film Festival (TIFF) (2009), Actor Award for the role of Spiros in the film "Delegation" at the International Film Festival (TIFF) ) (2018), "The Legend of the Cane" directed by Xh.Rama.
