Shkëlzen Shala (1925) Director, screenwriter of chronicle and documentary films. He was born in Tirana on December 25, 1925, where he completed technical high school. He worked for some time at Radio Tirana as a radio reporter and later as an editor in the writing of texts at Kinostudio "Alhqiperia e re". Since 1958, he started shooting his own documentary and documentary films, making about 80 films, of which 60 were documentaries with different themes. The first documentary film shot by him was "Visit Albania" 1958, while the first documentary films "Me kot e kini" and "Brigada Qemal stafa" – 1959.
