Zef Jubani (1910-1958) Actor of the "Migjeni" Theater – Shkoder One of the special cases is the birth and death of the actor from Shkoder. He was born in Shkoder on December 2, 1910 and changed his life on December 1, 1958!!!

He attended the Jesuit school in his hometown, and took part in the performances organized by it, appearing on stage for the first time in 1925. In the 30s, he became active as an amateur actor in the theater groups of the well-known cultural societies "Vllaznia". and "Bogdani", as were the plays: The Road of the Abyss, The Font of Swords, Moisi Golemi-Prince of Dibra, Two Princes for a Girl, Gjergj Kastriot's Return to Kruje, etc. After several shows that were prepared by the central group of the theater near the Shkoder House of Culture, in 1949, he was among the founding actresses of the theater "Migjeni" in Shkoder. Soon he became the main actor, with the roles of the protagonists, on the stage of this theater. In the 40 artistic figures that he created with skill, he stood out especially in the performances of pieces from Albanian dramaturgy, such as: Shtate shaljanet, Kthimi, Agimi, Kunora e Nuries, while from world dramaturgy he performed in the main roles in the pieces Moliere's Tartufi, The Servant of Two Gentlemen of Goldoni, Barber of Seville and Bomarshese, Nora of Ibsen, etc. One of his impressive figures was that of Tuc Maku in the drama Toka jone by Kole Jakove, in 1954. In 1952, he created the difficult Mollerian character, Harpagon, in the comedy Koprraci. With this role, he reached the peak of his artistic career as well as that of the "Migjeni" theater of that time, however, on the other hand, it marks one of the highest points of Albanian acting in general. The power of the actor's interpretation of Mr. Juban in the many roles he performed, stands out for the complete alienation of himself in the figure, for the inflections and variety of intonation, for the plasticity and expressive mimicry, for the emotional momentum and explosive temperament, for the energies of movement and expressiveness of the gesture, as well as for the high adaptability to the conditions and character of the action. These properties have made her one of the most popular actresses in the Albanian theater. Mr. Juban's life was cut short, not yet reaching his fifties, and he even died on the steps of the "Migjeni" theater on December 1, 1958, one day before the premiere of the first Albanian opera Mrika by Prenk Jakove, in which he was also involved yourself.
