Armando Bora Director of Lindi theater, born in Vlore on November 30. He graduated from the High Institute of Arts for directing with teacher Pirro Mani. In 1991 he went to Greece for three years and then in In 1994, he staged the play "Three Minds at Auction" by Ferdinand Hysi in the "Petro Marko" theater in Vlora, which won 3 awards at the National Festival of Theaters in Tirana. In 1995, he had success in the same theater with another play by F. Hys, "Aziloidi and the city against mice", with which he won an award at the theater festival in Vlore. A winter night's dream (1999) was an impressive staging of the novella "Who brought Doruntinen" by I. Kadares at the National Theatre. In 1998, the drama "Far Ontrantos" was staged: pain towards the tragic exodus of Albanians towards the shores of Italy. In 2002, with the staging of Ionesco's "The King is Dying", he created clear parallels between the syndrome of power holders in totalitarian dictatorial regimes on the one hand and the selfishness and irrational greed of man as a human being. In 2000, he started working at the Opera and Ballet Theatre. He successfully staged the operas "The Marriage of Figaro" – 2000 / "La boheme – 2002 / "L'elisire d'amore" – 2004, in which the contemporary style of mise-en-scène is noted. The director A. Bora is also attracted by monodramas, diadramas or parts with few characters, where the levels of a fragile psychology, human intimacy are felt more, among which we can mention: "Rinoqeronti" – 1996, a Franco-Albanian collaboration, " Qefharrami" – 1998 / "Rubairat" – 1999 / "Gof" by Anton Pashku, in the theater of Varna, Bulgaria in 1999 / "Suitcases" etc. He has realized 12 directorial projects. He has also written 5 dramas. In 2006 he was appointed director of the National Theater, a position he held for less than a year, after he left there, devoting himself to political activity. J.
