Spresa Papapavllo
Director editing at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”!

Born in Tirana on November 10, 1938. Completed two years of general High School. She started working at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re” as a typist-secretary on August 6, 1957. From 1970 she moved to the film editing department where she worked for several years as an editor under the direction of Xhanfize Keko.

In 1973, together with her she edited the short feature film “Emperor’s Bed”. Then she worked again under the direction of the director in five films shot by Xh. Keko, which ones are: “The youngest city in the world” – 1975 / “Beni walks by himself” – 1975 / “Sounds of war” – 1976 / “Tomka and his friends” – 1977 / “After the tracks” – 1978.

After this activity, she worked as a completely independent editing director in 15 films, among which: “Freedom or Death” – 1979 / “When a Film was being shot” – 1981 / “The Road to Freedom” – 1982 / “Taulanti is Looking for a Sister” – 1984 / “Stones of my House” – 1985 / “Endless Words” – 1985 / “Hot Autumn `45” – 1985 / “The Tale from the Past” – 1987 / “Elastic boy” – 1989 / “The Historian and the Chameleon” – 1989 / “Living Wall” – 1989 / “Little Parents” – 1991.

She has also directed editing in several cartoons, among which “Kecat d ujku” – 1982. Published on this page on November 9, 2021
