Robert Qafzezi
Director, painter and screenwriter of the animated film.
Born in Tirana on October 26, 1956. He finished his studies at the High Institute of Arts for painting. Started working at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re” in 1983 as a painter in the cartoon department. He shot as a director and painter the films “Jo keşhtu Piku” (co-author); “Kur te bien puplat” honored with the Encouraging Award for directing; “Enderra ne diell”; “Burri eshte burre”; “Talenti i babait” (screenwriter) where he was awarded the 8th Fetival Cup; As a director, painter and screenwriter he later also wrote the screenplay for the film “Enderrat nuk vriten”.
In 1991, he won the world competition of projects for professional cartoons organized by the animation school “Gabelin”, the short film project “Bible”, which was not actually realized due to lack of funding. Since then he settled in Paris and later made the first film “Black Sun” which was financed by “La Sept” television. This is the first film that opens a series of symbolic-philosophical films such as the projects: “Pa koke”; “Drejtesi”; “Idea”; “Paraja”; “Mannequin” etc.
He is a participant in several Festivals in Salerno, Bourg-Enbres, Clermond-Ferrant, Ober Haissen, Tempera in Finland, Luca in Italy;
