Alush Shima Film and costume painter. He was born on October 21, 1942 in Tirana from a family that came from the village of Kuc i Vlore, moved to Tirana in 1927. The first source of his feelings for beauty would be the various objects that his father brought home. At the age of 7, he started drawing with a pencil and continued the drawing and painting course near the Palace of Culture in Tirana under the direction of the well-known painter Sadik Kaceli. 
He continued his studies at the artistic high school "Jordan Misja", which he graduated in 1960, directed by the well-known painters A. Buza, S, Kaceli, A. Zajmi. In 1965, he completed his studies at the High Institute of Fine Arts, where he had the painters N. Zajmi and S. Shijaku as lecturers. He first worked as a model painter in the Migjeni Artistic Enterprise and in 1967 he moved to the Kinostudio "Alhqiperia e Re". 
He began his professional career in cinematography as a costume painter, creating the costumes for 11 films, among which: "Old Beaches" – 1969 / "When it dawned one day" – 1971 / "Captain" – 1972 / "Ruge te bardha" – 1974 / "Paths of war" – 1974 / "Streets that seek the sun" – 1977 / "Guns over the wire" – 1977 / "General gramophone" – 1978 etc. In 1979, he started working as a film painter in "Ne shtepine tone" and until 1990 he made 19 such as a painter. "Long time" – 1983 / "Who dies on the feet" – 1984 / "Shadows that remain behind" – 1985 / "And one day comes" – 1986 / "Invisible world" – 1987 / "Mission beyond the sea" – 1988 / "The historian and the chameleon" – 1989, etc. 
In 1994, he was appointed as the director of the National Gallery of Figurative Arts, staying here until 1997. After that, he had a very active period as a high-level painter. But even before, when I was at school as a student at the "J. Misja" worked about 1500 watercolors. In 1973, after the arrest of his friend and close friend A. Oseku, about 150 works called decadent were burned by the police. After 90, with his high productivity, he will open his first solo exhibition with 210 works that he inherited from 1970 at the Art Gallery in Tirana. In 1994, he will open his second exhibition called "Anxiety" with 86 papers.
