Enver Shëngjergji
Maestro, outstanding composer of Albanian music. “Grand Master”!
He was born in Tirana on September 19, 1948. Completed his studies at the High Institute of Arts in 1966-1969. From 1970 to 1974, he worked as a lecturer in this institution. In 1974, convicted as a participant in the 11th Radio-Television Song Festival, he was sent to the Kërraba coal mine. In 1979, he returned to Tirana, where he was appointed head of music at the “Ali Kelmendi” Palace of Culture.
In 1992 – 1995, he was appointed a lecturer at the “Jordan Misja” Artistic High School. From 1995 until today, he is on disability pension, as a result of being affected by an arthritis pathology.
For nearly 40 years, he has contributed creatively to the genre of light and popular music. It has been awarded several prizes in local and national activities, among which we can mention the titles of the songs: “We Traveled Together”, “The Last Evening”, “My Village Girls”, “Under the Olive Wreath”, “Flowers of”
