Parashqevi Simaku, the well-known singer! He was born in Kavaje on September 1, 1966, where he attended and successfully completed primary and secondary school, and then transferred to Durres. Later, he studied dramaturgy at the High Institute of Arts. It was precisely her parents who cultivated her desire for art. This is how he started singing at a young age, later collaborating with the most talented composers of the time. 
He has always sung about his love and saying several times that the greatest love for him is music itself. There is a wide artistic activity, especially during the 80s. She herself belongs to the golden generation of Albanian singers, before the 90s. Participates in many festivals and Spring Concerts. In the 21st Festival of v. 1982 took second place with the song "Gezuar shoke" in a duet with Lindita Theodhori. She is the winner of the 24th Song Festival at RTSH in 1985, taking first place with the song "At the age of youth". This success was also repeated in 1988 at the 27th Song Festival at RTSH with the song "E duam faliciin", composed by Pirro Çako. 
In the Festival of 1986, she took the third place with the song "Nje mengjes", repeating once again the 3rd place in 1989 with "Jetoj". Her repertoire includes a large number of interpretations from the genre of popular music as well as the easy one. After 1991 she left and lived in the USA, dealing with music there as well, and releasing a new album "I fly inside my temple" with songs written and composed 80% by Parashqevia herself and 20% by her husband her, Robert. 
In 2006, she published her second album "Echoes from Iliria", with 10 songs in her native language that are dedicated to the nostalgia of Albanian immigrants towards their homeland. The last time she appeared in Albania was in 1996 at the 35th Song Festival at RTSH as a guest. A year later, 1997, another year for Albanians, he also held a concert in Albania and an interview with the newspaper "Koha e jone", whose editorial office was burned down that year.
