Artan Marku Painter, director of the animated film He was born on August 11, 1954. He graduated from the High Institute of Arts in 1980. In 1981, he was appointed a painter in the department of cartoons at Kinostudio "Alhqiperia e Re". This year he made his first film as a painter and director "Fox and hedgehog". Until 1987, he made 8 films: "Ah, bunny, bunny" – 1982, "Bredhi midis nesh" – 1983; "Not like this" – 1985; "Magical flower" – 1985, which was awarded the III Prize at the 6th Albanian Documentary and Cartoon Film Festival, "Piku ne jjah" – 1986, "Piku me lekure dhelpre" – 1987, received the Desiderio award at the Children's Festival, Italy 1989, "Portret" – 1988, "Two Brothers", "The Last Song", "Love in the Four Seasons" – 1996, "Photographs" – 1999, etc. In 1992, he emigrated to Germany, working there as a painter for a year. In 1994 he went to Greece and worked in three studios in Athens as a painter animator. In 1996, he returned to the Kinostudio "AlbaFilm Animacion" in Tirana, working until its closure.
