Sander Prosi (1920-1985) "Honour of the Nation", "People's Artist". He is undoubtedly a "Star" of the Albanian scene, a "Star" that never fades. Sander Prosi has become a symbol of stage art for Albanians. If Albanians can be identified in history with figures such as Gjergj Kastriot Skenderbeun, Ismail Qemalin, our revivalists or Mother Teresa, (in music with Vace Zelen), while in Film they undoubtedly carry as an identity card, full of pride, Aleksander Prosi. The roles he played have been studied and will continue to be analyzed further, as they are rich with great national values. As such they occupy an important place in the contribution that our theater and film make to our treasury of progressive culture as well as to that of world-class performance. Therefore, the film creations of Sandër Prosi reveal not only the artistic values of the actor on the screen, but also his high stage skills. He finished his studies in dentistry, and was professionally far from dramatic art, but within the artistic pain of man, where this would push him towards the stage to penetrate historical and artistic characters and figures, which would highlight his ability to to transcend them and to make them part of one's character. The noble-looking man would be called from time to time by different names and would leave special impressions on the spectators, bringing before their eyes Abdyl Sharren, the captain of Biga, dr. Kristo Borovën, dade Vranen, Jaho Labin, professor, Miti Vozarin, Sefedini, Dhaskal Todri, Ismail Qemalin, prof. Mirushi, Colonel John, Bruno, Mark, General, Pilo Mullixhiu and many others. He was a class actor, unattainable in the roles he played. The figure of Dhaskal Todri interpreted by Prosi has remained in the memory of the Albanian public. With rare artistic mastery, he interpreted the character of Ismail Qemali. He gave a wise, wise Ismail Qemal, the man who radiates authority, trust and respect, full of human feelings in every step and action. True art is difficult and requires work, talent and knowledge. The figure of Ismail Qemali, in which there is strength, mental and physical vitality, good behavior, tact and self-restraint, the diplomat found the most accomplished realization by this great artist. Sander Prosi was accurate, true, wise and prudent, Albanian to the core in life and in art. His stage activity before us remains alive. Through the inner monologue, the artist revealed all the concerns, preoccupations and thoughts of the character. An artist with a very fine, very special creative profile. In Sander Prosi, the individuality that characterized him is noticeable, not only in what he has done, but also in the unity of thought and feeling. As a smart actor, I penetrate into the depth of the roles to their darkest recesses, unraveling the psychology of the character in detail. He has played various roles and has never been the same. He knows the emotional world of the character very well. The roles interpreted by him are both vital and natural, where simplicity stands out in the range of interpretations. ___________________ Albanian cinematography in activity since 2013
