Bekim Fehmiu (1936-2010) Albanian actor with world fame! Bekim Fehmiu is undoubtedly the best Albanian-Kosovar actor for all time, he is the ambassador actor of Albanian cinema in the world. Undoubtedly the best actor that Kosovo has produced. He was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 1, 1936 and passed away on June 15, 2010 in Belgrade, Serbia. 
He comes from a well-known bloodthirsty family. His father, Ibrahim Fehmiu, was an outstanding patriot, one of the first generation teachers in Kosovo and a great propagandist of education in the Albanian language. Fehmiu became famous with the movie "Feather Collectors" in 1966. By that time, he had studied and become known by many movie houses around the world. 
He is the first Albanian film and theater actor, who has successfully played in films and stages all over the former Yugoslavia. He was one of the personalities who left his mark on Balkan cinematography, but above all, he is great for his artistic contribution to world cinematography. He married Branka Petric and had two sons. He visited Albania in 1972 and never hid the longing he had for it. In the entire Balkan space, it is almost in the proportions of a myth. Fehmiu was found dead in his apartment in Belgrade on June 15, 2010. According to the first statements, it appears that he committed suicide. The Ministry of the Interior of Serbia said that Fehmiu was found dead in apartment and the revolver was registered in his name. He was 74 years old when he left this life. He is the only actor from his native country who took part in Hollywood!
