Besnik Kasa (1953-2017)
“Estrada” actor from Tirana, was also active in several feature films.
Kasa was born on March 19, 1953, in Tirana. Well-known as an actor of the former Estrada of Tirana who had a long career with this troupe alongside famous names such as Skender Sallaku, Arben Shaka, Vasillaq Vangjeli, Mexhide Pici, Kosta Kamberi, Vegim Xhani etc., along with these names that they stand out in Albanian humor. Here we can highlight the section “Implementation of the plan. Goals” in the role of team captain.
The actor mainly belonged to the comedy genre, but the directors also activated him in the Albanian artistic films “Alley`s that sought the sun”; “Green field, red field” and will certainly be remembered in the interpretation of the help of the tractor driver in the film “New Shelter” (1977). He was the husband of the well-known singer Irma Libohova.
Passed away after a serious illness on March 17, 2017.
