Sanie Hoti Actress of the dramatic theater "Aleksander Moisiu" as well as in the organ of the puppet theater of the city of Durres. He was born on May 7, 1955 in Qerret, Durres. Since she was little, she was active in concerts and often as a presenter of amateur groups, while reciting, singing and dancing very well. Economic survival was difficult for every family, while for her family with 4 sons and 6 daughters, the survival of the parents who worked in the agricultural cooperative doubled. Qerret did not have a high school, so she had to study in Tirana, finishing school in 1975. Then she completed the High Institute of Arts, in 1978. In her house in the village, she would come twice a year, once on the occasion of the new year and once at the end of school. Her teachers were Sandër Prosi, Vera Zheji, Birçe Hasko, Gëzim Kame, Timo Flloko… After graduating, he starts working in the theater in "A. Moisiu", having the luck to play with the greats of the theater, Nikolin Xhoja, Vangjel Heba, Spiro Urumi, Ali Bega, Marta Burda, etc. In 1983, she joined the troupe of the Puppet Theater of the city of Durres as an actress and later as a director (there from 2000). In this theater she worked together with Dhurata Sefa, Mirjeta Selimi, Astrit Tepshi, Dhimitër Bleta. Several roles have stood out during her career on stage, while actress Sanie Hoti has mostly played the role of the mourner and the maid. For the defense of the diploma, he necessarily needed a role. At that time, the play "Lidhja Prizren" directed by Pjetër Gjoka and Lazer Filipi was staged. The roles were divided, but alongside them there were also actors who would mainly double the main roles. One of them was assigned to Sanie Hoti, a student who was waiting to graduate. She was given to double the role of the maid that would be played on stage by Drita Nikolla, an actress full of energy and with a lot of authority. Nikola himself, wanting to encourage and support Hoti, pushes him to appear on stage in the final rehearsals. It was her first role which she took so seriously that she caught the eye of both directors who could not miss her presentation without accompanying her with greetings and congratulations. 6-7 new plays were given every year. In their multitude, Hoti singled out the role of the Kosovar mourner in "Gërsheti i wartrave"; lamentation at "Hotel Balkan" of Bashkim Hoxha; prisoner in "Nemesis" drama by D. Çuli, partner with the great actress Tinka Kurti. She has performed many roles, especially those with a comedic content, where her sense of humor stood out, her ability to create characters and to use artistic grace the flaws, imperfections and human shortcomings, as well as the dramatic roles made it possible to highlight the emotional state; expressed through a perverted and energetic play such as: "Father" by A. Strinberg (the maid), "We don't pay" by D. Fo (Margarita), "Two half brothers" by Gj. Vlashit (Zanfina), N. Ostrovski's "Dowry Girl", (Ogudallova), Slavomir Mrozhek's "Tango" (Eleonora), to reach a high interpretive quota thanks to the graceful use of grotesque elements, with the role of Tixhe in the comedy "we all sang Margarita" (2007) by B. Hoxhe. In this comedy, he was given the opportunity for the first time to play with the biggest figures of Albanian theater such as R. Ndrenika, R. Trebicka, G. Fuga, A. Derhemi, S. Konjari, E. Jani, H. Bashhysa. In this comedy, Hoti played the role of a judge. Tixja, the judge who held the hammer in one hand to shoot the gong of the senate and with the other hand ate pie in the court session, inside the hall. Other shows: "Monologue" with women directed by D. Dervish; "Visa-free travel of an alien" by B. Hoxha; the comedy "After death" by Çajupi; "The servant of two masters", "Clan of the divorced", "Three women, three divorces, three houses"; the comedy "Stewardess" with the role of a maid; During the national festival held in Gjilan, Kosovo, at a temperature of minus 17 degrees, Sanie Hoti was declared the best actress of the festival. He learned the news from director Ervin Çuli, who called him at midnight, just as soon as the jury announced the names of the best actors and the best theater troupes, while Hoti was at her home in Durrës. In Gjilan, the troupe from Durrës went with the comedy "After death". As a director, she was awarded the First Prize for the performance of Gjergj Vlashi's "Anger of Buttons" at the European Festival of Puppet Theater (2006). In 2002, she won the "Xinxifillo" award with the role of Fox at the puppet festival in Pogradec.
