Liljana Cavolli (1942 – 2015) Albanian singer from Kosovo. Liljana has a long career at Radio Prishtina, not only as a singer, but also as a moderator of several music shows. She was an outstanding singer well-known especially for the Albanian public of Kosovo who, together with Nexhmije Pagarushen, nourished the soul of many listeners with lasting artistic values for a full 5 decades. 
She was a child when her family moved to Skopje where she stayed for several years. It was in Skopje that Liliana had her first appearance on the radio without knowing that this was her first step in her career. Liliana's mother was a singer and Liliana followed in her footsteps, where she began to grow as a girl but also as a singer. At the same time, he attended music high school and became a member of "Agimi" JSC. Talent, voice and work in Prizren made Liliana quickly stand out as a promising name. These characteristics made it easier for her to come to Radio Prishtina. Here begins another very important chapter for the life and artistic career of Liliana Cavolli. The voice, as a gift from nature, and love for singing were Liliana's main qualities that made her admired. 
But there was also support and understanding from colleagues and composers such as: Skënder Gjinali, Musa Piperku, Severin Kajtazi, Gjergj Kaqinari, Isak Mucolli, etc. to whom Liliana was very grateful. The appreciation from music creators and critics was high for Liliana Cavolli. We, all of us, are satisfied with Liliana's song. We are pleased and happy for the fact that it was a wonderful presentation of the Albanian song around the world, almost on all continents. 
On Radio Prishtina, Liliana sang herself and sang beautifully, but at the same time she helped the other songs that were broadcast to have the right artistic level. Liliana was a music editor and leader of unforgettable shows such as "I am music and poetry", "Evergeen" etc. She was among the most famous singers, music editor at the former Radio Prishtina and author of several popular shows on Radio Kosovo! She came from a family of artists. Her mother, Meserete Cavolli, was a singer and actress. His father, Isaac, was a teacher. Liliana has been a bartender of the society "Agimi", a society with tradition. "Agimi" had in its bosom the fun, popular orchestra, in front of the Prizren audience with fun songs from the Sanremo festival where the old song and the new song were sung together. "Don't be afraid that they have competition because everyone in this sky has their own place" – she said! In Albania, she was present with the "Shota" ensemble, sometime in the 70s, and was very well received by the public. Every meeting with her fans in Albania created special excitement and pleasure. 
Cavolli was an excellent singer. She has sung with the same success as the song of the light music as well as the popular one. She was a wonderful soprano. He would never agree to sing "play beck". First of all, it was her characteristic timbre, clear, warm vocation, shaped color, clear diction that are the basis of the value of the caliber of affirmed singers.
