Jorgaq Tushe
Actor and director of the theater “Petro Marko”, Vlore.
Well-known actor of Albanian Cinematography.

Born in Vlore, on April 18, 1949, a city where he was also one of the main actors and directors of the “Petro Marko” Theater. Completed his studies at the ILA (Higher Institute of Arts) in the drama branch in 1972 and then completed a supplementary course for theater directing at the ILA and Cinema in Bucharest.

Tushe worked as a director at the “Petro Marko” theater in Vlora until 1992 when he emigrated to Greece. With the theater and Estrada in Vlora, he has brought to the public 50 premieres that bear his name as a director, but there are not a few roles in the theater.

Jorgaq is known as an actor, mainly with comic tendencies, who plays some interesting characters on the stage of this theater, but he created more space for himself mainly as a director.

Even on the screen, he has been active in several feature films, starting with “Liberty or death” in 1979 in the role of Taxhim Ymeri and continuing a year later, in 1980 in “Bullets to Emperor” in the role of a lawyer,

There are also many roles as an actor or performances as a director in the “Petro Marko” Theater. As an actor, we can mention one of the most successful roles of Don Bazil in “The Barber of Seville”, while as a director, we can mention some such as “Goodmorning Vera”; “After death” (1982); “Unmasking” (1984); “Friend X” (1984); “The Fisherman’s Family”; “Palace 176”; “The beautiful old house”; “Much ado about nothing”;

Even after the 90s, the director continued his activity with several other shows, adapting to the situations in the country.

In April 2009, Tushe put on the stage “Krushqit nga Vlora”, a play which also won the “Kosova Fest” Festival on February 17 in the 1st Edition of Therande – Kosovo 2010.

Then on July 17, 2010, the director Jorgaq Tushe had the play ” “Swan Song” to continue on March 10, 2011, in the comedy “Unplug the Minister”; October 19, 2011 “Mystery”; April 14, 2012 “Symphony of fate”.

After emigration, almost 16 years old, he returns to the film screen, performing in a docu-fiction “E per te cantero’ tutta la vita”, made with two Italian directors, Nico Angiuli, Fabrizio Bellomo, a film about the character of Enver Hoxha.

In this film, Enver is the real one, how he behaved, how he communicated with people in the home where people could not see him. The second role after returning is in the movie “Buka”, in 2017 in “Daybreak”, and then in 2018 in “Delegation”;
