Nebahet Skendi. Actress of the "Zihni Sako" Theater, Gjirokaster She was born on March 28, 1947 in Gjirokaster. She completed her secondary education in her hometown near the Asim Zeneli high school and in 1966 she started working at the city's variety theater until 1990. In 1990 she was appointed an actress of the professional troupe where she stayed until 2004. Her performances and roles have been many and varied thanks to her professionalism she would very quickly gain the trust of the directors and the support of the public. For her contribution over the years as a part of the professional theater but also of the city's variety show, in February 1986, Nebahet Skendi was awarded the "Naim Frasheri" medal by the People's Assembly of the time.
